Read about some of the individuals that make UT Hillel a reality for students, alumni, parents, friends and the Toledo community. Director Elizabeth Lane office 419-724-0377 elizabeth@jewishtoledo.org Elizabeth has been working as Hillel Director of University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University since 2011. In addition to her work with Hillel, she is also the NEXTGEN Director for the Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo. A Toledo native, she received her Bachelor’s degree from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and before coming to Hillel owned an art gallery where she sold local artists work. Elizabeth is proud to lead UT Hillel and she looks forward to seeing even more Jewish students at Hillel in the years to come. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, painting and spending time with her husband, Andrew and puppy, Hudson. Office Manager Cindy Feldstein office 419-724-0377 cindy@jewishtoledo.org Cindy is a native Toledoan and has lived here for most of her life. She attended Ohio University and graduated from the University of Toledo with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She taught preschool, kindergarten, First, Second and Third grades from 35 years at the Stone Hebrew Academy of Toledo. She is happily married to the love of her life and they are the very proud parents of a fabulous 21- year old son. Cindy has presently acquired the delightful job of Office Manager at the University of Toledo Hillel and is loving every minute of it! She is passionate about Hillel, loves getting to know the students, and hopes that they will feel this is truly their "home away from home". Advisor Olivia Nedorezov office 419-724-0377 olivia@jewishtoledo.org Olivia Nedorezov has been University of Toledo Hillel’s advisor since August 2011. Her favorite thing about working with Hillel is witnessing and getting to be a part of students’ growth as individuals and as Jewish young adults. Besides helping with engagement of students on UT’s campus and program planning, you can also find articles by Olivia on how she connects her work with Hillel to her everyday life published in the Toledo Jewish News. When not at the Hillel House for a program or in the Student Union passing out ice cream to students, you can find Olivia hitting the books or in front of a classroom as she is a graduate student and teaching assistant at the University of Toledo, getting her Master’s degree in teaching English as a Second Language. If any more hours happen to be left in the day, Olivia also enjoys spending time with her fiancé, adding to her collection of fabulous headbands, eating any food with artichokes in it, and indulging her guilty pleasure of watching T.V. shows on, about, or related to weddings. |
